Why Use Templates?
Templates are the fastest way to create professional ads. AdFlex offers thousands of pre-designed templates optimized for conversion across different industries and platforms. Instead of starting from a blank canvas, you begin with a layout where the spacing, typography, and visual hierarchy have already been handled for you. This lets you focus on your message and your offer rather than on design mechanics, so you can move from idea to finished ad in minutes.
When to Start From a Template
Reach for a template whenever you want speed, consistency, or inspiration. They are especially useful if you publish frequently and need a steady stream of on-brand visuals, if you are new to design and want a proven starting point, or if you simply want to see how professionals structure a layout before building your own.
Finding the Perfect Template
Browsing the Library
Go to the Templates section in the dashboard. You'll see a curated feed of trending designs. Scroll through the feed to get a feel for the styles available, from bold promotional layouts to clean, minimal compositions. New designs are added regularly, so it is worth checking back for each fresh campaign.
Filtering Options
Use the filters to narrow down your search:
- Category/Industry: Filter by Real Estate, Fashion, Tech, Food, etc.
- Platform/Size: Choose Instagram Story (9:16), Facebook Post (1:1), YouTube Thumbnail (16:9), etc.
- Language: Filter for designs optimized for English (LTR) or Arabic (RTL).
Combining filters is the quickest way to a shortlist. Selecting your industry together with the placement you intend to publish to narrows thousands of options down to a handful that fit your goal.
Respecting Language and Direction
Because AdFlex supports both English and Arabic, the Language filter matters. Templates built for Arabic are laid out right-to-left (RTL), so headlines, alignment, and reading flow feel natural to your audience. If you create campaigns in both languages, build a version from an LTR template and a separate version from an RTL template rather than flipping one design.
Previewing
Hover over a template to see a larger preview. Click on it to see details and related designs. Use the related suggestions to discover matching layouts when you want a consistent look across a multi-asset campaign.
Starting a Design
Once you've found a template you like, click "Use Template" or "Edit". This will open the template in the Design Editor, ready for customization. From there you can swap text, replace images, and apply your brand colors and fonts to make the design fully your own.
Tips & Best Practices
- Match the platform first: Decide where the ad will run before choosing a template, then filter by that exact size so nothing gets cropped later.
- Keep your brand consistent: Plan to replace placeholder colors and fonts with your Brandbook settings once the template opens in the editor.
- Prioritize the message: Choose a layout with enough room for your headline and call to action rather than the busiest design.
- Build a campaign set: Pick related templates so your feed post, Story, and thumbnail share a unified style.
Common Issues
I can't find a template for my niche
Broaden your filters or browse a related industry. A layout from an adjacent category often works perfectly once you swap in your own images and copy.
The template is the wrong size
Rather than stretching a design, return to the library and filter by the correct platform and size so the proportions are right from the start.
