Plan Your Content in One View
The AdFlex Content Calendar is where you plan and schedule your social posts ahead of time. Instead of posting in the moment, you can lay out your week or month, see everything at a glance, and let AdFlex publish each post automatically at the time you set. It works hand in hand with the publish composer: scheduling simply opens that same composer in schedule mode. This guide covers the calendar flow from end to end.
The calendar offers both week and month views, a timezone picker so your times are accurate for your audience, a filter to show only a specific connected account, and a post-source toggle that switches between posts you have scheduled and posts that are already published.
Step 1: Open the Calendar
Open the Content Calendar in AdFlex. Choose the week or month view depending on how far ahead you are planning, and set the timezone picker to your audience's timezone so every scheduled time is correct. If you manage more than one connected account, use the account filter to focus on just the one you are planning for.
Step 2: Create Post (or Click a Date)
There are two ways to start a scheduled post. Click the "Create Post" button, or click directly on a day cell in the calendar. Either way opens the publish composer in schedule mode, ready for you to build the post. Clicking a specific day is the quickest way to start because it ties the post to that date from the beginning.
Step 3: Pick Channels
In the composer, select which connected channels the post should go to. You can choose Facebook, Instagram, or both, and each channel gets its own form so you can tailor the caption and media per platform. This is the same channel selection used for immediate publishing.
Step 4: Set Date and Time
Choose the exact date and time you want the post to go live. If you started by clicking a day cell, the date is already set for you and you just confirm the time. Double-check the timezone shown so the post publishes when you intend, especially if your followers are in a different region.
Step 5: Schedule
Confirm to schedule the post. It is now queued and will publish automatically at the date and time you set. The scheduled post appears on the calendar, where you can keep planning the rest of your week or month around it. For more on the composer's fields and post types, see Creating & Publishing Posts.
Common Questions
How do I make sure a post publishes at the right time for my audience?
Use the timezone picker at the top of the calendar to set your audience's timezone before scheduling. Every date and time you choose is then interpreted in that timezone, so the post goes live exactly when you intend.
What is the difference between scheduled and published posts on the calendar?
The post-source toggle switches the calendar between two views: posts you have scheduled for the future, and posts that have already been published. This lets you separate your upcoming plan from your past activity in the same calendar.
Can I schedule a post for a specific day quickly?
Yes. Click directly on a day cell in the calendar. This opens the publish composer in schedule mode with that date already selected, so you only need to set the time and build the post.
Can I plan posts for more than one account?
Yes. If you have multiple connected accounts, use the account filter to view and plan one account at a time, and select the channels you want inside the composer when you create each post.
