Connecting Facebook & Instagram

Why Connect Social Accounts?

Connecting your Facebook and Instagram accounts allows you to publish your designs directly from AdFlex without manual downloads or uploads. It's a powerful time-saver for social media managers and marketers.

Prerequisites

Before connecting, make sure you have:

• Facebook Business Page: You need admin access to at least one Facebook Page. Personal profiles cannot be connected.
• Instagram Business or Creator Account: Your Instagram account must be converted to a Business or Creator account and linked to your Facebook Page.
• Admin Access: You must have admin rights to grant permissions.

How to Convert Instagram to Business

If your Instagram is still a personal account:

1. Open Instagram app > Settings > Account
2. Tap "Switch to Professional Account"
3. Choose "Business" or "Creator"
4. Link it to your Facebook Page

Step-by-Step Connection

Step 1: Access Social Connections

1. Log in to AdFlex
2. Go to Account > Social Connections (or look for a "Connect" option in publishing dialogs)

Step 2: Connect Facebook

1. Click "Connect Facebook"
2. You'll be redirected to Facebook's authorization page
3. Log in to your Facebook account if prompted

Step 3: Grant Permissions

Facebook will ask for permissions to:

• Manage your Pages
• Publish posts on your behalf
• Access Instagram accounts linked to your Pages

Click "Continue" to grant these permissions.

Step 4: Select Pages

Choose which Facebook Pages you want to connect. You can connect multiple pages if you manage more than one.

Step 5: Confirm Connection

Once completed, you'll be redirected back to AdFlex. Your connected accounts will appear in your Social Connections list.

Publishing to Connected Accounts

Once connected, you can publish directly:

1. Finish your design in the editor or AI Content
2. Click "Publish" or "Share"
3. Select Facebook and/or Instagram
4. Write your caption and click "Post Now"

Common Issues

I don't have a Facebook Business Page

You'll need to create one. Go to facebook.com/pages/create and follow the steps. Personal profiles cannot be used for publishing.

Instagram isn't showing up

Make sure your Instagram account is a Business/Creator account and is linked to your Facebook Page in Instagram settings.

My token expired

Facebook tokens expire periodically. Simply reconnect your account by going through the connection process again.
