Changing Your Subscription Plan
As your business grows or your needs change, you may want to upgrade to access more features and credits, or downgrade to a plan that better fits your current requirements. AdFlex makes it easy to change your plan at any time.
Upgrading Your Plan
Upgrading gives you access to more credits, additional features, and expanded capabilities.

- New features are activated immediately
- Your credit balance is updated to the new plan's allowance
- Any unused credits from your previous plan are typically preserved
- You're charged the difference for the remaining billing period (prorated)
- Future billing continues at the new plan's rate
Downgrading Your Plan
If you need fewer features or credits, you can downgrade to a lower-tier plan.
Available Downgrade Paths
- Premium to Pro: Reduce to 1,000 monthly credits and 2 business accounts
- Pro to Free: Return to 30 monthly credits and basic features
How to Downgrade
- Go to Account > Billing
- Click "Change Plan" or "Manage Subscription"
- Select the plan you want to switch to
- Confirm your downgrade
- The change takes effect at the end of your current billing period
What Happens When You Downgrade
- You keep your current plan until the end of the billing period
- The new (lower) plan starts on your next billing date
- Premium features become unavailable after the switch
- Excess business accounts or team members may become inactive
- Your assets and designs are preserved, but some features may be limited
Scheduled Plan Changes
When you downgrade, AdFlex schedules the change for the end of your current billing period. You can see scheduled subscriptions in your Billing dashboard, showing when the new plan will take effect.
Tips for Changing Plans
- Review your usage: Check your credit consumption and feature usage before changing plans
- Plan ahead: If you're in the middle of a project, consider waiting until it's complete before downgrading
- Export important work: Download designs and assets you want to keep if you're significantly reducing your plan
- Check team limits: If downgrading, ensure you're within the new plan's team member and business account limits
Resubscribing After Cancellation
If you previously canceled your subscription, you can resubscribe at any time:
- Go to Account > Billing
- Click "Resubscribe"
- Choose the plan you want
- Complete the payment process
Your account will be reactivated immediately with the new plan's features and credits.
Common Issues
I upgraded but don't see the new features
Try refreshing the page or logging out and back in. If features still don't appear, contact support.
I want to cancel my scheduled downgrade
If you scheduled a downgrade but changed your mind, you may be able to cancel it from the Billing page. Look for the scheduled subscription section and select the option to cancel the change.
Will I lose my designs if I downgrade?
No, your designs and assets are preserved. However, some premium features used in those designs (like certain Brandbook customizations) may become view-only until you upgrade again.
