How to Cancel Your Subscription
Step-by-Step Cancellation
- Log in to your AdFlex account
- Go to Account > Billing
- Find the "Cancel Subscription" button below your current plan
- Click to initiate the cancellation process
- You may be asked to confirm or provide feedback
- Confirm your cancellation
Note: The Cancel Subscription option is only available for paid plans (Pro and Premium). Free plan users don't need to cancel.
What Happens After Cancellation
Immediate Effects
- Your cancellation is confirmed, but you're not immediately downgraded
- A "Canceled" badge appears next to your plan name
- You can continue using all features until your billing period ends
At the End of Your Billing Period
- Your subscription transitions to the Free plan
- Monthly credits are reduced to 30
- Premium features become unavailable (Brandbook, Products, advanced team features)
- Extra team members and business accounts become inactive
What You Keep
- Your account remains active
- All your designs, images, and videos are preserved
- Access to basic AI features (with Free plan credit limits)
- Your connected social media accounts (within Free plan limits)
What You Lose
- Unused credits do not carry over after the plan ends
- Brandbook customizations become view-only
- Product catalog access is restricted
- Team collaboration features are limited
- Priority support is no longer available
Reactivating Your Subscription
Changed your mind? You can resubscribe at any time:
- Go to Account > Billing
- Click the "Resubscribe" button
- Choose your desired plan
- Complete the payment
Your premium features will be restored immediately upon resubscription.
Before Canceling: Checklist
Make sure you:
- Export your designs: Download important designs in PNG, JPG, or PDF format
- Save AI-generated content: Download any images or videos you want to keep
- Note your credits: Use remaining credits before cancellation, as they don't carry over
- Inform your team: Let team members know about the change
- Review scheduled posts: Ensure any scheduled social media posts are published or canceled
Refund Policy
AdFlex subscriptions are billed monthly. When you cancel:
- You're not charged for future months
- You retain access until the end of your current billing period
- Partial month refunds are generally not provided
- For billing issues or special circumstances, contact support
Common Issues
I can't find the cancel button
The cancel option appears in Account > Billing. If you're on the Free plan, there's nothing to cancel. If you still can't find it, contact support for assistance.
I canceled but was still charged
If you were charged after requesting cancellation, it's likely because the charge was for the current period (which you still have access to) or there was a processing delay. Contact support with your invoice details.
I want to cancel immediately
Standard cancellation keeps your access until the end of the billing period. If you need immediate cancellation, contact support, though refunds for the remaining period may not be available.
Can I pause my subscription instead?
Currently, AdFlex doesn't offer a pause feature. You can cancel and resubscribe when ready, or downgrade to the Free plan to maintain basic access.
