The Power of Brand Colors
Colors evoke emotions and help customers instantly recognize your brand. AdFlex's Brandbook allows you to define a precise color palette that the AI uses to generate on-brand designs automatically.
Setting Up Your Palette
You can define up to 5 core brand colors in your palette.
How to Add Colors
- Go to the Colors section in Brandbook
- Click the "+" button to add a new color
- Choose a color using the color picker OR enter a specific HEX code (e.g., #FF5733)
- Repeat for all your brand colors
Understanding Color Roles
AdFlex uses your colors intelligently:
- Primary Color: Used for main headers, buttons, and key visual elements. This should be your dominant brand color.
- Secondary Color: Used for subheadings, backgrounds, and supporting elements.
- Accent Colors: Used for highlights, special offers, and details to add variety.
- Background Color: Often a neutral shade (white, off-white, or very light color) or a dark shade for dark mode designs.

- Accept the suggested palette
- Tweak individual colors
- Clear and start from scratch
Using Colors in Designs
Once your palette is saved, it becomes available in the Creative Studio:
- AI Generation: The AI will prioritize your brand colors when generating new ad layouts.
- Manual Editing: Your brand colors appear at the top of the color picker for quick access when editing text, shapes, or backgrounds.
- Templates: One-click "Apply Brand" feature instantly recolors any template to match your palette.
Tips for a Perfect Palette
- Balance is key: Use one or two dominant colors and keep the others for accents.
- Contrast matters: Ensure your text colors contrast well with your background colors for readability.
- Include neutrals: Don't forget to include black, white, or gray shades for text and standard elements.
- Check accessibility: Make sure your color combinations are accessible to people with visual impairments.
Common Issues
The AI isn't using my exact colors
Ensure you've entered the correct HEX codes. Also, remember that AI generation balances your brand colors with design aesthetics, so it might introduce complementary shades for better visual appeal.
I want to change my primary color
Simply delete the current primary color and add the new one. The order often matters, so try to keep your main color as the first one in the list.
