Find Files Faster
As you create more content, your asset library will grow quickly. Between AI-generated images, videos, product photoshoots, and your own uploads, a busy library can hold hundreds of files. AdFlex gives you simple but powerful tools to find exactly what you need in seconds, so you spend less time hunting and more time creating.
Filtering Assets by Type
Use the tabs at the top of the My Assets page to narrow down what you see. Filtering is the fastest way to cut a crowded library down to just the files that matter for your current task.
- All: Shows everything mixed together, including designs, images, videos, and photoshoots.
- Uploads: Only the files you've uploaded manually, such as JPG, PNG, SVG, or MP4 files from your own device.
- Favorites: Items you've marked with a star or heart for quick access.
You can also use the type tabs covered in Managing Your Assets, such as My Designs, My Images, My Videos, and My Photoshoots, to focus on one kind of file at a time.
Using Search
The search bar lets you find assets by name. This is the quickest method when you already know what you're looking for. AdFlex automatically names AI-generated assets based on the prompt you used to create them, so a clear, descriptive prompt makes a file far easier to locate later.
Tips for Better Search Results
- Write descriptive prompts: Since AI assets are named from their prompt, specific prompts are easier to find than vague ones.
- Combine search with filters: Switch to a type tab first, then search within it to narrow results even faster.
- Search by keyword: Try a single distinctive word from the prompt rather than typing the full title.
Using Favorites
Mark your most-used assets as favorites so they're always one click away. This is ideal for logos, brand visuals, or hero images you reuse across many campaigns.
- Hover over an asset.
- Click the Heart/Star icon.
- The asset will now appear in the "Favorites" tab.
To remove an item from your favorites, hover over it again and click the same icon to toggle it off. A small, well-curated set of favorites keeps your essential files separate from the rest of your library.
Using Assets in the Editor
You don't need to leave the editor to find your files. Open the My Assets tab in the left sidebar of the Design Editor to search, filter, and drag your assets directly onto your canvas. This keeps your creative flow uninterrupted, letting you pull in a favorite image or a recent AI generation without switching pages.
Keeping Your Library Tidy
A little organization goes a long way as your library expands. Review your assets periodically and remove files you no longer need so search and filtering stay fast. When you're ready to clear out several items at once, you can select multiple files and remove them together, as explained in Actions on Assets. Keep in mind that deleting is permanent, so favorite or download anything important before cleaning up.
Common Issues
I can't find an asset by name
Remember that AI-generated files are named from their original prompt, not a custom title. Try searching for a keyword from that prompt, or switch to the matching type tab and browse.
My favorites tab is empty
You haven't starred any assets yet. Hover over any file and click the Heart/Star icon to add your first favorite.
